about Fizz
Fizz ("find your fizz") is a free, experimental web application designed to help school children find structured activities for break times. It was created by Maggie, a 10-year-old child with ADHD, with support from her mum Jeni. It is a genuine child-led project, not a commercial product.
access codes and school licensing
Access to Fizz requires a valid school access code issued by Fizz. Access codes are:
- Issued on a per-school basis to schools that have agreed to pilot Fizz
- Non-transferable — codes must not be shared with other schools or organisations
- Revocable — Fizz reserves the right to deactivate any access code at any time
- Subject to the school signing a Data Processing Agreement before use
who can use Fizz
Fizz is intended for use by children aged 4–15 in UK schools with a valid access code, teachers and school staff at authorised schools, and parents exploring break time support tools with school awareness.
Important: For Reception to Year 4 pupils, a teacher must be present while pupils use the Fizz engine. Activity suggestions may then be carried out independently, at the teacher's discretion.
